My name is Steven Bridwell from Doyline, Louisiana. My Father was Franklin Earle Bridwell from Greenville, South Carolina and his father was Baylos P. Bridwell. I am looking for any general information on the Bridwells during the Civil War. I have not been very successful in research of the family name. I am new to this, however, and this is my first attempt online. I bought a book from one of those family name book companies, and only found one or two actual passages in the book about the Bridwells. If anyone could help point me in the right direction or wants to exchange any info about the persons I mentioned, please let me know, and I, in turn, will continue to watch this posting board to see if there is anything I can add.
