Hello James,
McCracken is the name of the county. As I said before, I'm descended from the half-brother or maybe even adopted brother of Dr. Samuel Graham who was married to a Brien. I do know the Brien's were a prominent family there going way back, so you should have no trouble researching them! I have a cousin who went to the cemetery where many were buried and took some pictures. I'll attach one of Eliza Marshall Brian and her husbands headstones which are near Samuel Graham's. They were his in laws. They spelled their name "Brian" but were of the Brien family. Using both spellings will help your searches. The tiny old cemetery is called the Wilson Cemetery, near Briensburg, KY.
good luck, and thank you for responding and the information. Let me know if I can be of any more help. I no longer have a subscription, but my tree has some stuff there to help you.

ps,
Just looked at my tree and the Brien family info is found by clicking on Richard Mason Smith, then "siblings" which will show Dr. Samuel Graham, then click on his wives, Sarah Brien and Martha Jane Brian. He was married to Sarah, she died young and then he married her sister Martha! Hope this helps your search.
