My mother is trying to find her 1/2 brother which is a Brien from Germany. This is what I have so far:

Fredrich Hermann Brien - DOB Unknown
Wife: Rose Giersdorf (Maiden Name)Brien - DOB Unknown
Son: Bruno Brien - DOB Sept 20, 1911 Died July 31, 1941
Married:Frieda Anna Eisenblatter May 4, 1937, now Brien by marraige (this is my grandmother) DOB Aug 30, 1911 Died Dec 12, 1947
Daughter of Frieda Anna Eisenblatter out of wed lock is my mother - Ursula Frieda Eisenblatter DOB June 25, 1935 still alive
Son of Bruno and Frieda is Bruno Dieter Brien DOB July 30, 1939 - we are trying to find out if he is still alive, this is my mothers stepbrother.

They lived in Elbing Germany which then changed to West Prussia and is now Poland before they fled to Denmark during the war.

I do have some town names where they were born which I can give you once I find them.

If you want to send me a email my address is scholzie1@sympatico.ca. My name is Monika Scholze daughter of Ursula. I live in Toronto, Ontario.

If you have any other info which could help us find Bruno Dieter Brien that would be great.

Hope this sheds some new light on the Brien family tree.
