All the Documentation I have on James C. Brigance (1775) being born in North Carolina is the 1850 US Census which lists that as the place of his birth. Do you have any info on James' other wife or wives other than Pricilla Crabb? Ancestry.Com hasn't helped. Albert's book mentions an Elizabeth Brigance that migrated with him and Sterling Pitt. But no hint as to the relationship between her and James. Do you have a guess? Does anyone have any helpful info?
