I would like to find what became of Richard James Brigance (1850-?) and Joseph T. (or, H.) Brigance (1857-?). I have them last living with their recently widowed mother, Sara Ann Brigance, in Henry County, Tennessee, in the 1870 US Census. Sara Ann Brigance is next found in the 1880 Census with her 3 younger children in Piney Township, Van Buren County, Arkansas. Anthony A. Brigance, her oldest son, married in Faulkner County, Ark. in, 1876. I believe he went to Ark. with her sometime after they were both Baptized in Henry County, Tennessee, in Aug. of 1871. But, I dont know if (Richard) James and Joseph went with them. Her other grown son, John F. Brigance, stayed behind in Tennessee with his wife, Phebe Ann Ratteree Brigance.
