Looking for parents of Bets(e)y Briggs who married Silas Hall Cleveland in 1817 in New York (although one source says Mass.) She was born abt. 1792 in New York (again, one source says Mass.) Her children were:
Kingsley (my ancestor)
Lucinda
Reuben
Louisa and
Almira.
I am also curious as to the origin of the Briggs name...
