George was b. Sept 26, 1825 to Katherine (Kattie)Powers and George Brigham in Franklin, Venango Co, PA. George and Kitte had the following other children: Ann married Alderman Haslet, Robert married Mary Phills, TWW. married Lizzie Bleakley, Mary married George Turner, Francis, William P. married Lizzie Smith, Lydia E. married Absalom Smoth, Ralph M. married Jennie Whiteley and Florence married J.T.P.Watson.
George Washington Brigham married Jane Bestwick, daughter of Esther and James Bestwick Sr. of Worth Twp, Mercer Co, Pa Oct 11, 1849. I believe these to be their children all born in Franklin, Cambria, Venango, PA; Annie b.1851,Anna Jane b.1853, Plummer Mccalmont b.1857, Allana Belle b.1859 and George Gillotte b.1862. Do not know names of any spouses of these children.
George W. is listed in two busines directories as a dealer of coal in Franklin in 1869 and 1871.
