Need some History!

I am just starting to do some family history on the brigman name and I hope to get some help. My father is alive and well here in Texas. His father was Oddie Bigman, and his mothers maiden name was Banta from Greenville, Texas. I know thats not much but if anyone knows of the Brigmans or Bantas in Texas Please let me know.
