hi we are brimelows from cronton widnes.

i have found the name is miss spelt or miss read in most of the census;
brimlow
brownlow
brimilow
bromelow etc etc etc.....!
in one census the family are called brownlow then one 20 years earlier they are brimelows....its very confussing
we originate from john brownlow 1802 from bolton he married sarah d.o.b. 1795 (dont know maiden name) she was from ditton
then thats where they stay round about the ditton, cronton(crouton) and hough green and farnworth parts of widnes lancashire.
anyhow nice to hear of 'other ' brimys!
