George. J. Brimer, 97, Goodland, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Good Samaritan Society-Sherman County, Goodland.
He was born March 26, 1911, in Ogden to Thomas and Stella (Matthews) Brimer. He attended high school in Keats.
He married Helen D. Larabee on Sept. 28, 1940, in Alma. She preceded him in death Dec. 11, 2003. He was a roadmaster for 47 years.
Survivors include two granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Lee Zimbelman, on April 4, 2008.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time Saturday at Koons Chapel, Goodland; in Goodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Mountain time Friday at the chapel.
Memorials are suggested to Good Samaritan Society-Sherman County or First United Methodist Church in care of the chapel.
