Bill, can you tell me where Hans Jurig Brimer went after he landed in Philadelphia in 1733. My records show him in South Carolina in 1735 to 1736 purchasing land. My Hans had two sons. I have run across others' records that show Hans Brimmer (note spelling)who allegedly arrived on the same ship Hope from Rotterdam (I have seen the logs and they are transcribed differently in different sources), but these people believe that their Hans settled in New York. Have you run across this problem in your research?
