I am trying to trace my family tree. I am interested in anyone with the same surname and anyone who believes that they are a decendant of James Brindley the canal engineer. My father is Stuart James brindley(born in 1957) his farther is Keith Brindley(born in 1931). Keiths brothers and sisters are Fred, Herbert,Edna, Alice(born in 1909 still living) and Joseph. Their farther also Joseph was married to Margaret and I beleive that Joseph was born in 1879 and came from either Barnsley or Goole.
