The only problem is on my GGrandmother marriage cert...1909, it states, father John Cheshire (deceased). I don't believe the John you found is correct. I have found a marriage cert for Hannah Brindley and John Simpson. I have ordered a copy, so I will have to wait and see what that says.
I just wish I knew how the name "Cheshire" came in. All grandfather says is that his mom was a "Simpson" but her name was changed to "Cheshire". He does not know why, he also believed that John (Jack) and Annie (my GGrandmother) were adopted.
