Brine Family & Tolpuddle Martyrs
Hello
I have recently been researching my family history, recently i was speaking with my uncle, Michael William Brine James 60 who is a descendent of the(James) Brine family.
Unfortunately, i dont have much information to go on, however, I understand that James Brine was involved in some way with the famous Tolpuddle Martyrs revolt of 1833, the Brine family later emigrated and settled in Canada and have some connection with the Canadian 'Huron' Territories, although I'm not sure quite what the connection is at this stage. If anyone can fill me in on this I would love to hear from you.
I would also be thrilled to hear from anyone who may be related to the Brine family or who may be able to provide further information regarding the Brine family and perhaps additional info on the Tolpuddle Martyrs.
Best Wishes
Shaun
