I have always wondered if I got my red hair from the Brines'. My mother's brother had red hair. Wonder how far back that ran in the family?? Well, you and I are definitely cousins. I have a very large family tree for the Brines. Here is what I can quickly share with you:
You probably descend from Edward and Patience (Cook) Brine, then their son-Russell who married Eleanor Garner. Next in line would be Russell's son-Henry Harrison Brines who married Elizabeth Jane Mull. (They lived in Belmont, Wabash County;, IL.) They are buried in the Hallock Cemetery in Wabash County. They had a son-Charles Russell, born 1 Feb 1869, who married Sara Elizabeth Risley. She was born about 1866. Their son Clem Henry Brines was born 3 Nov 1900 in Mt Carmel. He married Mary Naomi Cisel who was born 4 Oct 1899. I have 3 children listed for them: Verne born 1926, Clem Eugene born 1924 and Mary Elizabeth born 1927. Does this fit? I have lots more to share with you. Carol
