I am related to the Brinlees. I would like to know when the first family of Brinlees came to this country? Does any Brindley, Brinlee or non-Brinlee family have any information? Hiram Carroll Brinlee is my gggrandfather. His father was John T. Brinlee. Hiram was born December 25, 1808 and died July 28, 1885 in Collin County,Texas. He is buried in the Brinlee Cemetery at Melissa, Texas. He was married Elizabeth Anne McKinney. Hiram Carrol ran a general store at Stony Point. His son, Hiram Carrol "Dink" Brinlee Jr. was my ggrandfather. His son, Louis Boone Brinlee was my mother's father.
