I think we are cousins. My Great Grandfather is Jose Pablo Briones the son of Gregorio, the Grandson of Marcos Briones. My Grandfather, Pablo Miramontes Briones did not mentioned much to my family about his origin until when he was passing. He passed in the arms of my Mom. My Dad was working the agriculture fields of Presidio County when my Grandpa passed. He told my Mom his father was Jose Pablo from Bolinas, Ca. Since my Grandfather was born in 1859 and passed when he was 78, long before I was born, I assumed there was a serious discourse between him and his family. My Great Grandmother ended up in Abaja Terlingua Big Bend National Park from Tubac, Arizona. She got to Tubac from the Presidio in San Francisco. I am trying to put the pieces together. I am a Biologist by trade and I see evidence of my genetics by looking at facial traits and by seeing my drives and passions. I have too much similarity with both Juana and Jose Pablo. Jeanne says I have strong traits of both of them in me. Jeanne and my Maternal Grandmother who passed in 1977, have helped me put a big majority of my family history on my Paternal side.
