My name is Hanneke Brisban and I'm living in Holland.
I'm searching for my ancestors. I know that they came from Scotland and that the first, who came to Holland,
was George Brisbane. He was born November 13, 1706 at Kilsinning, Ayr, Ayershire, Scotland.
I also know that hies father and mother were George Brisbane and Jean Shaw.

Who can help me with my search in finding the parents of George Brisbane (father) and maby more back in time.
I know that Thomas Makdougall Brisbane was the founder of the city Brisbane (Australia), he was Governor of New South Wales
from 1821 - 1825. I would like to know in what relation he was to the Brisbane Family from Scotland.(he also was born in the same area as my ancestor George Brisbane)
