Classification: Query
Surnames: Brittain, Britton, McCullers
I have a Britton/Brittain/Bryiant McCullers living in Georgia, 1795 on (Burke, Washington, Wilkinson and Laurens counties). He was born at least by 1769, likely earlier. Possible names of children/siblings: Colson, James, John, Elizabeth. May also be a connection to the Harp/Harpe family as James is James Harp McCullers who later legally changed his name to James Harp.
It seems likely that his first name came from a family connection to the Brittain/Britton family. Anyone have a daughter married to a McCullers/McCullens?
Thanks,
Karen Dutton
