Hallo, I have just come across your posting. I have an ancestor who was called "Polly" KASHER, but appears to have been a Mary Elizabeth Kasher and she was from Willington in Co. Durham. She married a John Liddell CROSBY. He was also born in Durham area of Willington. I can only find one child which I think is their's, a Robert Crosby born in 1944 in Scarborough, Yorkshire. Does any of this ring a bell? Do get back if you read this. Thanks.
