BRO SURNAME IN NC 1780-1850

Hi from Mexico. I've run across a BRO and sometimes spelled BROUGH family in ROWAN COUNTY, NC. First sighting was 1784 baptism of a child, CHRISTIAN BRO, by the Moravian minister from HOPE Community. Then there is a CHARLES PRO and a CHRISTEN PRO on the 1810 fed. census for ROWAN COUNTY, NC.
I'm looking for a possible first wife of my g-g-g-grandfather, ANDREW KIMEL, named ANA (NANCY) BRO.
