Does anyone have any information on the MORRIS/MAURICE BROADWAY family of (mostly Chicago)Cook Co. IL? According to census records, he was b. in NY State ca. 1836, as was his father. Morris and wife Ellen had 5 children: Lucy, Daniel H., Albert S., Morris D. and Charles H., only four of them living in 1900. Morris died after the 1880 census, but before the 1900 census. The IL Statewide Death Index does NOT show any record for him. Does anyone know where he is buried? Ellen is probably the Ellen BROADWAY who died in Chicago on 4 Feb 1922, although the Index doesn't give her age at death. Is there an obit for her which might mention when her husband died?

Of the children, I have nothing on Lucy after 1870; although she may have married, she's not found in the IL Marriage index. Daniel (b. May 1858) married and had family in Chicago, including sons Morris and Frederick. Albert was b. ca. 1860, married, but childless after 11 years of mrg. of marriage in 1910. Charles H. b. Feb 1872 was married in 1900 (IL Mrg Index shows he m'd Mary Newitt on 20 Dec 1899), but I am not finding him in other IL census records.
