My grandfather was Worley Broce, George's brother. I have George as being born in 1821 in Montgomery County VA. Mariied to Edith and had 5 children; Bill, Barbara, Geo Jr.,Wallace and Betty. Died 1975 in Yreka CA. George has 6 siblings. Amanda, Robert, Worley, Myrtle, Ethel and Rowena.

I also have information that states that George's parents were Johannes Broce and Elizabeth Long/Lang. And that George was married to Mary Jane Lundy in June of 1843, then married Amanda Lambert in July of 1853.

Do not know what is correct except I trust the first because it comes from the memory of Louise Broce. The other information came from my searches on the internet.
