I am looking for information about John Brokemann, born abt. 1820 in Germany. He shows up in the 1900 U.S. Federal Census as the father in law to Henry Waterstradt, my great grandfather. There is no wife listed on the census, but a daughter, Lillie, age 15. Henry is supposed to have been married several times, but I don't know who this connection is. 10 years later, Henry shows up in Allegan, MI, with a different wife and daughter, with no Lillie, but she would have been 25 by then and probably on her own. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
