Surnames: BROCKWAY, WRIGHT
Hi! I just uncovered a mystery branch of my grandmother's family and am hoping for more info!
George Edgar BROCKWAY (b. 26 May 1883) married Arminta M (or Somina M) WRIGHT in Hailey, Blaine County, Idaho on 27 February, 1907. Arminta M WRIGHT (as she appears in the 1900 US Census - Mammoth Precinct, Juab County, UTAH) was born in Manti, UTAH and was the daughter of James Elias WRIGHT and Jensine Petrine NIELSEN. She was also the sister of my maternal grandmother, Charlotte Martine WRIGHT.
George and "Minnie" BROCKWAY were in Ketchum for the 1910, 1920 and 1930 US Census - according the the 1920 and 1930 Census records, they had four children: George S., May, Ethel and Ruby. George passed away in Ketchum in 1944; Minnie in April of 1974.
Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated! No one in my family seems to know of Minnie (Arminta), outside of the fact that we understood that my grandmother was not the eldest WRIGHT child - not true if it weren't for Minnie!
THANKS!
