I came across an old post of yours concerning the BRODE family. My great-
great grandfather was Peter BRODE. He was born 7 APR 1836 in Hinsdale,
Cattaraugus County, New York and died 6 FEB 1923 in Illinois. He married
Lucy Barclay ELLIOTT 27 SEP 1863 in Canton Township, Fillmore County, MN.

I show that his parents moved to Lee County, IL when he was 17 years old.
I don't know anything about his parents.

I was wondering if you would have any info concerning this Peter BRODE and
his ancestors?
