I am looking for information on the ancestry and town/village of birth of my great-great-great-grandparents, Christian and Rebeca BRODE or BRODT, who settled in Tamaqua, Schuylkill county, PA and founded the BRODE Bottling Works. The 1880 census says they were both born in 1827 in Germany.

They had the following children, all born in PA: George Franklin BRODE (my great-great-grandfather) b. 1854; John BRODE b. 1856; Susan BRODE b. 1858; Lizzie b. 1863; Louis BRODE b. 1866; and Rebecca Sue b. 1868.

I would also like to hear from any other descendents of Christian and Rebeca BRODE/BRODT.
