I am working with several family members trying to find information about the father of Cyrus Jacob Quick (born ca 1821 in Milford,PA; died 28 Sep 1897 when hit by a train at Hankins Crossing, New York). Cyrus' death certificate names his father as "Broadhead" Quick. A Sullivan County Record newspaper article dated 30 Sep 1897 says "Cyrus J. Quick was a son of Broadhead Quick, one of the earliest residents of the town of Callicoon and a descendant of Tom Quick, the Indian Slayer." Cyrus moved from Milford to Callicoon in 1838. Does anyone in the Broadhead clan know about Broadhead Quick from Milford, PA, born ca 1790?
