Looking for info on Brody (spelling?) family. Have VERY LITTLE to go on.What I know. Brody family had large plantation in Mississippi pre-Civil War. Most, if not all, the men in the family died fighting the war. The plantation was lost after the war. Might have been converted to a black college later. My great-great grandmother married William Richard Williams and moved to Texas. Children: Edward, Omar, Eva Alma, Richard, Lois. Richard married Clara, at least one daughter Elsie Ruth, my grandmother. Eva Alma took custody of my grandmother and raised her as her own daughter. Any info will help.
