I found a birth certificate on ebay by the seller "dkglobalproducts". I thought the information would be useful to someone. The infomation on the certificate states (written all in German) as follows:

Catherine, daughter of Ephriam Broman and Catherine Scheib. Born 15 August 1861. Baptized 7 May 1862 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Daycock? township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

My great great grandfather
Johan Gustav Broman, born aug 29 1859 in Dörby Kalmar district of SWEDEN, went to USA with his wife Vilhelmina Amanda Carolina Broman, maiden name Axtelius born oct 23 1860 in Löt Kalmar district of SWEDEN. Her nickname in USA was Minnie.
Minnie died 1940 in Rockford Winnibago Illinois.
Gustav died 1942 in Rockford Winnibago Illinois.
They took four children with them but left one in SWEDEN, Oskar Broman my great grandfather.
Childrens name who came with them was
Hilma Broman, born 1882, married Kjellstrom??
Nathalia Josefina Elisabet Broman, born 1884, married Olson??
(Almida Rediva Teresia)Therese Broman, born 1886

I am a friend of one of your cousins, he asked me about a month ago to look and see what I can find on his family. I just started on his mom's side, and afraid I do not have very much. Albert's parents were Ignatius Broman Born in Canada, died in Petoskey 6/25/1935. Haven't looked up his obit yet. There aren't any parents listed on his death certificate. It states that he is divorced on it though. His mother is Theressa Keen or Tressa Krohn.

I also have some information on Frank Broman's mother. I just figured out a name change last night for her.

Very interesting! I'm working on a genogram right now, and come from Esbitts who emigrated to the Bronx in the late 30's (Murray, Netty) from I believe Poland. There was also a Leon Esbitt who came over and lived in Brooklyn. This is the first I'm hearing though about Esbitts that came to the US sooner! If either of you have any more information, I'd be very interested!

Allen Charles Broman, b.abt 1914 IL, son of Victor/Lillian, lived Will Co., IL

I have more information on this photo, an original studio photograph of “Allan Charles Broman - 1915”, taken at his christening. I’d like to get it back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in Joliet (Will Co.) IL, and he looks to be about 5 months old. Although the photo shows Allan, I am sure based on 1920 census and SSDI that the name was actually Allen.

I found Allen Broman in the 1920 census for Lockport, Will Co., IL, son of Victor and Lillian Broman. He was 6 years old. In SSDI, an Allen Broman is listed with DOB 4 Jan 1913.

I am looking for information regarding Henrietta Broman who was born about 1865-ish supposedly in Portage County, Ohio.

Here is what I already know:

-In 1881, she married Winfield S. Leonard, of Mercer County, Pennsylvania. They were married in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, and lived there at least throughout the 1880s as three of their children, Walter Thurlow, Bessie, and Pansy B. were born there.

-A fourth child, Cecil Odessa Rosalide Leonard, was born in Muncie, Delaware Co., Indiana on October 27, 1900.

-I have been able to trace them forward from 1910 when they were in Buckhannon, Upshur, West Virginia, and then back in Delaware County, Indiana, after that.

Emma Broman

Searching for any info as to the whereabouts of Emma Broman Backstrom after 1880. She married Peter Backstrom and had several children. Peter moved to Colorado where he died about 1919 but Emma was not with him. Family rumor is that she went to Oregon to visit a daughter, Hulda. Emma came from Sweden about 1867.

My ggfather was Charles J. Broman who immigrated to U.S. in 1880's. Three brothers Andrew, Axel and Victor fand one sister Matilda, followed around 1890. Andrew was married to Maria who immigrated with son Gustav. Andrew and Alex settled in Nebraska and Victor and Matilda in Illinois. Does this sound anything like any of your Bromans

Seeking information about my Great Great Aunt. Hilma Broman. Born May 18, 1860 in Oland Sweden. Her brother were: Johan Gustav, Carl Alfred, Frans Edward and Olaf Laurentius. Her father was Johan Broman, born Aug. 8, 1828 in Kalmar, North Quater Sweden. Her mother was Greta Ann Lisa Andersdotter, born June 13, 1831 Kalmarlan Sweden. Hilma lived in Rockford Illinois from 1909 to 1917, then moved away and disappeared.

Johannes Broman married Anna Greta Johnson in 1828 and had 11 children all born in Jonkoping Sweden. The oldest was Anders, born 1830, and the youngest seems to have been Johannes, born 1857. My father (William Esbitt) was born in NYC in 1910, the youngest of three siblings (the others were Augusta and David). His father Max and mother Rose (Temple) came over from Russia or Poland (I believe via England) around the turn of the century, and supposedly the name Esbitsky was changed to Esbit(t) when they arrived.
Does that tie in to the Esbitsky's you're looking for?

Lake Broman in Canada is part of the Carrier Sekani Tribal
Council lands.This council represents 8 First nations.
The Wet'suwet'en first nation was formally the Broman Lake
Band.There is heaps of info about it on the email site
