I'm looking for information about his ancestry and immediate family to fill in my own ancestry tree. b. jan 1, 1841; d. Mar 8, 1897; wife - Harriet R. Thomson 1822-1892.
From grave marker in Pawlet, VT, I think. He is my great-great-grandfather on my paternal grandmother's side.
Their daughter Lucy Helen married Rev. John Pushee Demeritt on dec 10, 1872. I would have said it was Pawlet but I just saw a marriage list from Pawlet online here that did not have this marriage listed. My next guess would be Dorset, VT. I will do some more research about that guess soon.

In the meantime, I have five pocket diaries by Daniel written in shaky handed pencil. I expect these may be of interest to current-day Bromleys. I also have several photos of Bromley grave markers taken by my father, presumably in the same graveyard as Daniel's marker. It is not clear which of them are related to Daniel, but I suspect that several are of some relation, since it is a small town.
