I've got my fingers crossed that your upcoming visit may provide some sort of information for me as I haven't been too successful in tearing down this brick wall.

As you mentioned, BROOKE is such an extremely common surname in Yorkshire and I have recently obtained a birth certificate which shows my gg grandparents' surname spelled BROOK! I have discovered that my gg grandmother's maiden name was Leyland, but other than that, I don't have anything new.
