Hi. I'm actually Cindy, not Debbie (it's my sister's account). Jesse was my mother's great-uncle (my mother is still alive and happens to be here with me). Her grandmother Lucinda/Cinderella Brooks Gilson was Jessie's sister. His wife was Mary McRobie, whose parents were Frances and Lucy McRobie. Jesse was born approx. 1878, but I don't have death info (as far as I know). The Harry (b.1899) listed in the 1920 census was apparently Mary's from before they were married (along with Elmer -- b.1897)). In the 1900 census, Mary and the boys were living with Lucy and Frances, and the boys were still there in the 1910, but she was married to Jesse by then.

Jesse and Mary's kids (not including Harry (or Elmer)), were Edna, Flossie, Eva, George, Annamary, and Thomas. Mom met Flossie when Flossie was very old. My mother's cousin knew Flossie pretty well and knows/knew Flossie's kids.

Also, Tom Brooks (the youngest son) was living in Jeannette, PA a couple of years ago, and I believe he still does. My mother and I went to see him.

Who are you descended from -- George? Good luck.
