We are looking for information on Eli Mannering Brookshire who lived in 1850 in Lowndes county Mississippi with his mother Mathilda.
Where was Mathilda from (1850 Census says North Carolina-she was a widow) Her sons were born in Alabama. Where in Alabama did they live before coming to Lowndes county?
Her sonEli married Elizabeth Snell and died in Oct 1862. Does anyone have a copy of his will?
