Looking for any connection out there, because I have been able to find limited information on my greatgrandfather, Thomas Bresnan, who came to the US (chicago) from Ireland in 1866 at the age of 16.I do not know what Co. in Ireland he was from - his death certificate only says "Ireland". In 1873, he married Margaret Tighe ( from Co. Mayo) and he died at age 35, having had 2 children...my grandfather George Mathias, and a daughter Marie Cornelia. Several years after Thomas' death, Margaret married Pater Helfrich and had three more children...a daughter Margaret (married a Lavery), and 2 sons. Are there any chicago Bresnans, Brosnans or Bresnahans that think they know if this family? thank you
