What a nice story about your grandma Kate, telling your mom you were on the way! My grand aunt Theresa Moran, sister of my grandma Brosnan, was a long time parishioner of
St. Ignatius, I'm sure their paths crossed.

I further studied the passport application of my grand uncle Daniel Brosnan. There was a letter in there not only from the priest I mentioned before, but from a state representative. In it he referred to my family's Catherine Brosnan as Miss Brosnan as well. This makes me pretty sure she was not married in 1919. So I guess we are not from the same Brosnan clan. Funny how there were twins though! They run in our family too. As I mentioned, my grandpa was a twin and I have twin brothers.

If you ever get the chance, you should go over and visit. I would return in a heartbeat to Kerry and Mayo. Where my Papa Brosnan and Grandma Brosnan were from. It was truly a spiritual experience. I know that sounds weird but I don't know how else to describe it.

Good luck to you and if I ever find any info that may pertain to your branch of the Brosnan clan, I will contact you through this forum.
