Need help with Brothers family research

I have been trying for years to find info on my father's family. I hope someone can help. Father's name William Howard Brothers b. Aug 1910 East St. Louis, IL. G father William Howard Brothers b. July 1886 in Argenta AR. GG grandfather Charles H. Brothers born about 1865 in Indiana. I have found Charles living with a William H. Brothers, which is still yet another Wm. H., in St. louis on a city directory but the age could be a father or a brother. I don't know Charles' siblings, but I have found some Brothers in Indiana. I hope some of this rings a bell with someone! thanks!
