Brouillet is also known as Bernard. My great-grandmother (Argyle, MN) was known as Bernard on her death certificate, but other records, including her parents used both names. They were from L'Assomption, Quebec and are descendants of Bernard Brouillet from the early 1700's.
Now my problem is that I cannot find the wife of Joseph Brouillet dit Bernard 1745-abt 1802), the s/o Robert Brouillet and Marie C. Lorian. Her name seems to be Cecile Dufresne or Dufrene. The couple was married 8 Nov. 1773 at Pt-aux-Trembles. The original record was not very readable. I hope some one can help me.
