Searching for info on the where abouts of Eliza Ann (Northcut)Browder and her 4 children. The left Milton, Florida about 1874 and headed to Texas. Her husband, Martin Van Buren Browder, arrived in Texas by 1878. His widowed sister, Orpy May (Browder) Lowrey was with him. Also with him was his daughter, Belle Metilda, born about 1872 in Georgia or Florida. It is believed Eliza and 4 children died of swamp fever and may be buried in a common grave fenced by cypress wood somewhere in Arkansas. Any info about the site and/or wagon trails from Florida to Arkansas or Arkansas to Texas would be helpful. Please email me directly at the address below.
