Surnames: Bruce, Steward (Stewart), Duncan of Robertson Clan, Roberts
Do you have info on his daughter Marjorie's line of descendants that would include Duncans of the Robertson clan? She married Walter, 6th High Steward of Scotland. My Duncan grandfather could trace his Duncan ancestors back only to his great grandfather, William Duncan, born 25 Dec 1755, married 1 Feb 1788 to Rachel Roberts, Trinity Church Wall Street, New York City, reporting that the Jacobite Duncans had fled the Highlands in 1745/46 to Ireland, then to Nova Scotia, Canada and into northern New York State. Their descendants have lived in New Jersey. I am desperately seeking names William's parents and their home in Scotland. I hope you can help. Suzanne
