Bruder's from Baden

Sent off for records (in German) and discovered that there are evidently some Bruder's in my lineage. I have a Rosina Bruder (1794) who married Anton (?) Merz. Her parents appear to be Joseph Bruder (1763) and I cannot discipher the mother's name yet. Another ? Bruder (male) born in 1799. These records are all from Ulm, Oberkirch, Baden.

(?) Merz and Rosina Bruder's daughter, Christina Merz (born in Baden), married Eduard Schindler and they emigrated with their children to US in 1866 and settled originally in IL.

Any of this sound familiar?

I am having difficulty finding out who Marks Brothers/Bruder(s) parents were. In a 1880 census taken in Clermont County, Ohio, he was 46....so his birthdate is approximately 1834. He lists Baden, Germany as his birthplace. He died in 1881.

He married Adaline Neabel (also from Germany) in 1853 in Ohio.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

-Autumn

Bruder-Kronenberg of Daviess and DuBois counties, Indiana

I am seeking descendants of Peter KRONENBERG(ER) of Ferdinand, Indiana and Katherine BRUDER, and their seven children: John-1 b. Sept. 14, 1867; Theresia born January 23, 1870; Elizabeth born Dec. 28, 1871; Joseph born Nov. 11, 1873; John-2 born Jan. 23, 1876; Albert Cletus born April 25, 1878 and Peter born April 11, 1882. My ancestor is John KRONENBERG of Washington, Daviess County, Indiana (a neighboring county) and I believe he is a brother of Peter KRONENBERG(ER). This family was Catholic. John KRONENBERG b. 1856 in Germany lived in Ramsey County, Minnesota (according to his naturalization papers) prior to his move to Indiana. He immigrated through the port of New York in 1879 at the age of 23 and was 34 in 1890 when he filed his naturalization oath. I am hoping that if I discover the ancestral village in Germany of the BRUDER family I might also find that it is the ancestral village of my KRONENBERGs. By the way, my aunt alway insisted that the name was von KRONEBERG but I haven't found it listed that way in any records. John KRONENBERG married Johanna Kiefer. Two young sons died, then John Kronenberg in December 1895 (buried Dec. 9). Their surviving daughter, Mary Josephine KIEFER was my grandmother. Johanna KIEFER later remarried a BAUMGARTNER (Herman?) and they had one son. It may have been the son who was named Herman.
