I realize this is 8 yrs after your posting seeking info about John Bruin. My gr gr grandparents were John Bruin ( 1804-1892) and Winifred Doyle (1814-1879) of Middlesex Ontario. They lived near the Roman Line, Lucan Ontario. One of their children was John. Probaly the man you are looking for. One of their daughters was Bridget my gr grandmother. I can trace Bridget on down but that is all.
