Tracy,
Thanks so much. I did not have either of these items. I am especially interested in the item about Brian Bruin being a tenant of a building in 1803. I know he went to Mississippi Territory in 1788 but not finding any info about his death there, I had begun to suspect that he returned to VA. The last record I have for him in MS is about 1802-03 so this is fits my data. I do not have anything in my records to suggest a Bruin/Metcalf/Marshall relationship but I can't find Bryan Bruin's wife's maiden name. She was Elizabeth ?. I believe he married about 1753-54 as his son, Peter Bryan Bruin was born about 1754. Peter Bruin married Elizabeth Edmonds in Fauquer Co VA in 1781. Does any of this fit with your Metcalf/Marshall information? Appreciate your help.
Peggy
