Surnames: Brumbaugh
I am looking for decendants of Elliott F. Brumbaugh. He was 15 years old and living in Washington, DC in 1922. He was a survivor of the Knickerbocker Theater Disaster, Washington, DC, January 28, 1922.
His name appears in local newspapers, the Memorial Booklet and a 1957 Washington Post newspaper article entitled "35 Years After The Disaster." He attended the theater that night by himself, sat in the balcony, and was rescued after 2 hours.
I am writing a book about the Knickerbocker Theater Disaster, and would like to find out as much as possible about the victims and survivors.
