Where were your Brummel's? Nationality? And the time period?

I am a direct des. of Joseph Brummell born in 1774
in Maryland, this is my brick wall. Joseph died in 1866
in Hampstead, Maryland and by his 1850 and 1860 Census
info he was born in Maryland. His son, Joseph Brummell, Jr.
said in the 1880 Census, hat his father and mother were both born in Maryland. There are several Joseph Brummel's in Md. that I am working on to untangle and try to find out where my Joseph's parents. In 1850, in Carroll County, Md., the Brummell's were of the Joseph Sr. family line only.

3.) Christine Alice Brummell married Joel Thomas Sykes

4.) Charles Joseph Sykes married Susan Anna Elizabeth Walsh

6.) Susan Elizabeth Sykes m. Rodger William Bundy

All of the above were born, married and died in Carroll
CountyMd., except my mother, Grace Kenyon, she was born in New York state but were married and died in Carroll County, Md.
