ATTN. Russell Co., KY Brummet researchers!!!!

It has been assumed that Charles M. Brummet listed in the household of James and Susan (Hart) Brummet along with Elizabeth and George W. was the son of Susan and James. In the KY Births, 1852-1910 Russell Co., Charles M. Brummet was born 19 Oct 1854 to Elizabeth Brummet no father listed! I descend from Mason Brummett who is listed in the 1850 Russell Co. census with Elizabeth in the household of Nancy Whittle. It has long been rumored that Masons mother may have had 6 children out of wed-lock.
Due to this new information concerning Charles M. Brummet some revising and more research should be taken

Appears in "The Wapanucka Press" 25 December 1902 Wapanucka, Johnston County, Indian Territory, now Oklahoma

SENTENCED TO HANG

Pawnee: George Barclay and James Brummet, convicted of murder in July, 1900, of Capt. J. I. Poole, were sentenced to be hanged on February 12th. Poole was shot while attempting to arrest Brummet and Barclay for horse stealing.

I am not sure about the spelling, I am trying to find info on one Meta Maxine Brummet-Smith was married to Robert Smith and they had 5 boys. She had a sister or an aunt named Hilda that was from ca. Meta was apparently born in Missouri if this rings a bell with anyone please let me know. Her son would really appreciate it. Carol S.

i have several roberts, william. my brother robert wayne died in el paso back the 60's. i have william thomas. and i was born in 1929. bicknell, ind. i rember bill brummett, my dads brother.
my gr grand father is george washington brummett, my grand father is charles L, my father is charles richard. . names in this line are william thomas, dewey, charles L, charles richard, mary, molly ,and more, too many to list now.harry, dan, my brother, robert, designed, cut out of balsa wood, the first bat winged plane, the navy dept kept it and sent him some things, ensign in the navy, he was about 14 then. we lived in connersville, ind, then.
do you know the father of george?

My gg-grandmother was Bessie Irene Brummet. I believe she was living in Knoxville, TN at one time, possibly when she died in or around 1962. She was married to Daniel Webster Thacker and had several children. I believe her children were Samantha Marley Thacker, Ralph Thacker, Marie Thacker, Milliard Thacker, C. Houston Thacker, Bernice Thacker, Elizabeth Thacker, Edith Thacker and Sarah Thacker. I am looking for any information I can find on this Brummett family. I am searching for my ggg-grandmother and her family, I do not even know what her name was. Would appreciate any help.
