Sidney Clyde Brummitt, native of Gleason TN, and a resident of Grand Bay AL for the past 22 years, died at the family residence in Grand Bay AL, Thursday afternoon, Oct 24, 1946. Funeral services will be held from the family residence in Grand Bay AL, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock and from the Grand Bay Methodist Church at 10:30 o'clock. Interment will be in the Mt Olivet Cemetery in Humbolt TN. He is survived by his wife, Opal Alexander Brummitt, Grand Bay AL; one daughter, Miss Reba Brummitt, Grand Bay AL; three sons, Joe A Brummitt, Union City TN,; H B Brummitt, McKenzie TN; and R B Brummitt, Grand Prairie TX; two sisters, Mrs Frank Margrave, Gleason TN; Mrs Annie French, Gleason TN; three brothers, George B Brummitt, Gleason TN; R L Brummitt, McKenzie TN; J C Brummitt, Stuttgart Ark; three grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
