Hello to all the "Brun"!
I don't speak English very well but i'm going to try!
My name is Brun , and my father come from the extreme north of Italy (Friuli venezia giulia), near Austria and Slovenia.
In my father's village , (Poffabro) , there is a lot of people who have the surname "Brun" , so , to recognise each family , they put a second surname (that's why my name is Brun-Friz) , but there are also Brun-D'agnola , Brun-Peresut , Brun-Rosa...etc , etc!!!!!
I don't know exactly why my surname doesn't "sound" like an italian name (like Rossi , Ciccarello...), but i think it's because there are many "invasions" there: German , Austrian , French...
So , this name in french means: Brown (the colour)...
If you want to e-mail-me , the adress is:
knossos2@hotmail.com
Sorry , but my english is ...horrible!!!
I speak french (i live in belgium) , and also italian , but i understand a little english , if it's whrite with easy words!!!!
"Aurevoir"!!
