I noticed you mentioned your line of Brune's are from Franklin County, could you possibly check your fam. tree for Wilhelm Brune, probably born in the 1840s-1850s.

I'm afraid I don't have much info specifically on him, he's my mystery man.

He married Caroline Mincemeyer (Minzenmeier) in May 1873, they had a daughter named Anna in April of 1874.

When Anna was 4 years old, her mother (Caroline) died. Her father Wilhelm left Anna in the care of her maternal grandparents and left town. No one has heard anything more about him since.

There is a newspaper clipping from Franklin Co. suggesting that Wilhelm may have been in jail for abandoning his wife during her illness.

I'm looking for where he went, if he remarried or had any other children and all of his basics (date of birth, date of death, where he was born and died).
