I am descended from George C. Brune born in about 1863 in Illinois. His parents came from "Germany." I do not know their names. He may have had siblings named Ida, Anna, and Gus. The children of Gus attended the funeral of George's daughter, Grace, in Kansas. George died in 1945 in Lawrence Kansas. He married Jennie M Fetherolf aka Mary Jane Fetherolf of Lawrence Kansas. George's son was Howard Brune, born in Kansas.

Gus' children were named Olina Brune, Wesley Brune, Mayme Denny, Eugene Brune, Frank Brune, F.J. Brune.
